This role will work with our Senior Shared Operations Rep to help process new employee Background Checks, I-9 paperwork and other HR transactions and work as needed due to increased volumes

What's the role?
Primary responsibility for customer contact and problem resolution for moderately complex problems, researches and evaluates possible solutions using available resources, independently handles all routine tickets and processes semi-complex cases with guidance for home office employees, retirees, and external inquiries. The employee is expected to participate in unit projects and/or process improvement opportunities.

This position, under the direct guidance of an assigned supervisor, is responsible taking, processing, and resolving, standard, and less complex, employee onboarding & employee movement work on a wide variety of administrative topics covered by HR Shared Operations. This position draws on training, policy manuals, knowledge bases, and other tools to quickly resolve requests or issues. This position uses HR tools and systems to appropriately support hiring of candidates through the support of the new employee onboarding compliance processes including but not limited to onboarding paperwork, background checks, and I-9 Processing. Follow up with new and existing employees via established processes to ensure compliance with I-9 work eligibility requirements. Review and approval of HR Transactions. Effectively interface with customers, managers & employees at all levels via phone, email, and in person to ensure the most positive employee onboarding experience. Set expectations with employees regarding logistics and help with answering any questions. This position is expected to apply the standard procedures in resolving issues and is expected to refer complex issues on to higher tiers within Shared Operations or in the core HR function for resolution. This position is expected to help other team members, as time allows.

* Min of 2 years related work experience to include at least 1 year of previous customer service experience.
* Proficient in written and verbal communication.
* Solid customer service skills.
* Evidence of a high degree of courtesy and tact in dealing with all customers.
* Strong ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
* Proven analytical skills and ability to apply judgment and discretion.

* Demonstrated computer experience including Word, Excel, SharePoint and proficiency with current software packages.
* Successful completion of any required testing.

This role will be required to be on-site at the downtown campus in the tower, this is not a remote role.
