The Digital Marketing Manager, which is based in Muskego, WI, oversees the entire digital business unit including e-commerce and online marketing initiatives. They are responsible for working with internal departments, staff and customers to develop digital marketing programs, promotional plans, execution and analysis for revenue, lead generation and new customer growth. The qualified candidate will have experience managing e-commerce operations, and email, search engine (SEO + SEM), content and social media marketing programs. They will also use website design and testing knowledge to develop an optimal online user experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create and implement a strategy to grow online revenue, drive brand awareness, new customer acquisition, lead generation and promotions across all digital channels.
Generate metrics to measure business growth, and provide clear concise data driven insights to leadership. Oversee digital analytics to set benchmarks, track success and refine strategy for website, mobile, social media, search marketing, content and email marketing activity from Google Analytics and other measurement platforms.
Direct user experience and conversion rate optimization efforts through A/B testing, surveys and customer feedback to drive key performance metrics.
Use web design knowledge to provide an optimal online experience consistent with brand standards and promise.
Conduct ongoing communication with customers directly, through online chat or other channels.
Provide thought leadership, identify trends and implement best practices for digital marketing.
Collaborate with cross-functional areas including Sales, Product Management, Finance and third-party vendors to identify and execute business opportunities and process efficiencies.
Manage the product assortment and pricing strategy for e-commerce as well as online marketplaces.
Translate strategy into projects and drive project execution to meet deadlines and budget requirements
Lead and manage an internal marketing and web development team and external resources to ensure the success of the digital business.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Manage and coach developers, marketing staff and agencies
Meet with sales team, product management team and customers

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, initiative, skill and/or experience required.

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management or or similar
Personnel management experience

Specifications:

Experience in e-commerce and online marketplace management and knowledge of PCI compliance
Knowledge of Google Analytics, web design and user experience
Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills
Proven track record in online marketing including email, search, digital advertising, content and marketing automation

Authority:

Hires, manages, compensates, disciplines and terminates direct reports
Trains new hires
Assists with the preparation and management department budget
Directs and manages agency projects and direct reports
Approves or rejects projects
Negotiates contracts with vendors
