This HR Coordinator ensures best-in-class support to some of our most important customers - our employees! The role provides a full range of administrative and operations support and will need to demonstrate expert collaboration and communication skills within a fast-paced, growing organization. Working with the broader MFT HR team, this position will help ensure employees, leaders, processes, programs, and policies are operating effectively while aligning wit our company and department goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to employees on HR related questions and concerns.

?? Assist with HRIS transactions including processing employee job changes, hire, terminations, etc.

  • Support recruitment activities by receiving approved job requisitions, posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and processing pre-employment paperwork.
  • Act as liaison between hiring manager and temporary employment agencies if temporary staffing needs are needed.
  • Prepare materials for new employee orientation and assisting with creating onboarding schedules.
  • Prepare and run reports in HRIS.
  • Assist with tracking of HR projects and company initiatives; training, performance reviews, exit interviews, employee recognition programs, events, etc.
  • Maintain personnel files, active and terminated.
  • Assist with general office support such as ordering supplies, create building access, acting as "front desk" for our visitors and guests, etc.
  • Provide support to Marmon Link President when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies

  • High school diploma or GED, and 2+ ears of related experience especially working with confidential or business-sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) - Workday and ADP preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Process orientated, organized, highly accurate, and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively without close supervision.
  • High-energy, self-starter who has the initiative to function autonomously, demonstrate resourcefulness, anticipate needs, prioritize responsibilities, and take initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
