Summary: Responsible for researching and reporting environmental and sustainability compliance, providing documentation for architectural certifications, and internal documentation tracking for product development processes.

Primary Duties:

Respond to LEED and other product requests from customers
Compile documentation, collect data for applicable sustainability projects
Create and maintain EPDs(Environmental Product Declarations) and HPDs(Health Product Declarations) utilizing appropriate software.
Research green building trends, technologies, products and methods
Member of the Sustainable Business Committee and Environmental Management System Committee
Manage Product Transparency documentation
Research product compliance topics such as Prop 65, Red Lists, Conflict Minerals, etc. and report findings
Represent Inpro through outside associations
Support product management, sales and marketing with sustainability-related inquiries and compliance
Support product development and management in managing project tasks and NPL tracking documentation.

Effectively communicate through good oral and written skills
Adhere to company policies
Baseline understanding of sustainable building topics
Creativity and ability to think critically about multiple scenarios

Job Specifications:

Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
Understanding of LEED compliance, transparency documents and environmental labeling
Interest in learning about sustainability practices and sustainable building systems (LEED, Green Globes, Living Building Challenge, Passive Housing, etc.)

Job Relationships:

Reports to VP Product Development & Technical Services
Collaborates with Product Management, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or related experiences
Appropriate fields: sustainability, architecture, environmental science, engineering, sustainable design, building systems or similar field
Achieve LEED Green Associate credentials - 1 year from date of employment
