Industrial Machinery Mechanical Engineer

This full time, permanent Industrial Machinery Mechanical Engineer is at a employee-owned, established, growing, state-of-the-art, highspeed machine manufacturer. Because the company is employee-owned, employees are treated exceptionally well as they are owners of the company. Sales have consistently grown five to ten percent annually. Engineers are not bored here as they are allowed to float between projects and groups. Employees also are able to get cross-trained, if that is of interest. The work is interesting as they are designing several new concepts and applications. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic.

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

• Designing custom machines
• Creating power transmission systems
• Developing mechatronics
• Creating machine components and assemblies designs
• Solving design problems
• Making changes to machines or components
• Being an engineering presence on the shop floor
• Doing engineering calculations

Successful candidates should have the following background:

• A four year Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Four years of Mechanical Engineering experience
• Four years of machine design experience
• Two years of power transmission, gear and machine experience
• Proven design skills
