OVERVIEW: Bismarck State College is dedicated to student success. This on campus position is student-centered to provide high quality campus services and hands-on learning experiences.The Maintenance Department is looking for a student to work as a building maintenance worker. This position is open for both summer and fall. This individual would perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance and repair work or would assist skilled workers in the performance of more difficult maintenance and repair work. Hourly Rate: $16.00Hours per Week: 5-10Position Description & DetailsMoves furniture, equipment, and supplies. Change Air Filters on HVAC equipment. Clean coils and screens on HVAC equipment.General cleaning in mechanical rooms. Paint floors and walls in mechanical rooms. Minimum RequirementsAvailable to both Work-Study and Non-Work-Study BSC students. Good working knowledge of methods, practices, tools and materials used in general maintenance and repair work. Must observe established safety practices and procedures. Able to use a step ladderAble to lift 50 lbs. Additional InformationApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
