Job Details

The Simulation in Motion (SIM) North Dakota Coordinator performs a full range of professional duties in assisting colleagues in implementing simulation curriculum. The duties will include providing a safe environment and quality educational experience for all participants.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Supports and models behaviors consistent with the mission, vision and values of Altru Health System.
  • Coordinates team efforts and works closely with the SIM-ND project director and other ND STAR staff in maintenance in operation of Simulation in Motion - ND.
  • Functions as the team leader at outreach events.
  • Administers and collects participant and facilitator evaluations. Sends evaluation summary results to ND STAR Education Specialist.
  • Coordinates Policy and Procedure manuals.
  • Maintains proficiency level of knowledge in medical simulation technology field.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

Required:

  • Registered Nurse licensed by the North Dakota Board of Nursing or licensed through the "Compact State Agreement," or Paramedic licensed by the state of North Dakota.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience.
  • State or National instructor certification in one or more of the following courses: TNCC, PHTLS, ACLS, PEPP, PALS, NRP, ATLS.
  • Demonstrates clinical expertise for adult learning.
  • Demonstrates the ability to teach effectively.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of curriculum implementation and evaluation.

Pay grade for RN: $29.19-36.49 / hour
Pay grade for Paramedic: $20.31-25.38 / hour
