ELS is hiring for the position of "Administrative Assistant" with a strong emphasis on sales. We are located in beautiful Lake Elmo, MN; just off interstate 94. What you'll do: The Administrative Assistant helps to maintain property operations and is responsible for sales and leasing. Your job will include: Showing homes, highlighting the features and benefits of the homes and community.Conducts preliminary sales calls with potential buyers through our prospect tracking system. (no cold calling)Drafts sales contracts which may include calculation of sales tax and concessions as well as entering and following up on applications.Builds strong resident relations with ongoing communications.Accomplishes required administrative tasks accurately, expertly, and in a timely manner, while handling priorities.Works closely with management to develop an integral team that effectively represents the quality and professionalism of the company.Greets guests in a professional and friendly manner both in person and via phone.Organizes and maintains files.Attends and participates in sales training and safety training as required.Handles inquiries by phone, email, and text.Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Experience & skills you need: High school diploma, or the equivalent experience.Must have excellent customer service and sales skills with a history of success. Strong communication and organizational skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency with computers, preferably Microsoft Word, Excel and/or automated accounting systems. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and of course, commissions! We hire outstanding teammates who enjoy collaborating and jumping in to get the job done. Must have a positive attitude. Must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record. This is required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
