The Data Intelligence Business Analyst will support established Agile methodologies consistent with ADIG software engineering teams for the Data Intelligence team. The DI BA will gather requirements from key stakeholders and work closely with the Data Scientist and Product Manager to analyze them and break them down into actionable elements. The DI BA will create, manage and groom the backlog, ensuring that the DI Engineers are always working at peak efficiency. The DI BA must bridge planning and technical realms with a cursory knowledge of the craft, and work with key stakeholders to establish priorities and keep all parties informed of progress towards deliverables. The DI BA will maintain a process focus and facilitate specialization within the DI team, enabling richer and more timely analysis, and take the lead regarding testing/validation of DI team output, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and low latency.
Team Description:
The Digital Innovation Group works with the client on a variety of digitally complex projects from conception through execution and beyond, ensuring that data is captured and maintained in every phase possible.
YOUR IMPACT //
* Join meetings with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements and bring them to the DI team for discussion
* Take the lead on feature writing w/ acceptance criteria
* Feature estimation
* Throughput estimation
* Run bi-weekly sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions
* Coordinate DI team member presentations during bi-weekly sprint review sessions
* Run daily DI team stand-up meetings; assist in identifying and removing roadblocks
* Support business stakeholders via basic ad-hoc SQL query authoring & execution
* Gain fluency in the use of existing standard Tableau reporting & assist business users accordingly
* Gather & synthesize periodic feedback from business users re: Tableau report performance & use
* Coordinate with the Product Manager/Project Managers to ensure DI team & SE teams' output remains in sync
* Work closely with the Data Scientist & application teams to maintain a proactive (rather than reactive) BI/reporting posture
* Data Intelligence Roadmap generation and maintenance
* Resourceful solutions to daily problems and issues
* Building strong relationships both internally and externally
* Ensure timely delivery of tasks
WHAT WE NEED //
* 2-5 years experience in a Project Management role
* 3-5 years experience in a Business Intelligence/Business Analyst role
* Bachelor's Degree in applicable field
