Shift: 1

Will need to be flexible with schedule. Will primarily work 3 days per week supporting Discharge Prescription Capture and bedside delivery of prescriptions.

Summary:
Provides technical and clerical assistance to the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders and the monitoring of drug therapy. May procure measure compound count and deliver medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician- Home Delivery is responsible for assisting the home delivery pharmacists in the daily activities to drive and increase home delivery patient management and prescription capture for the retail pharmacies by communicating patients. Functions within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code - Pharmacy Examining Board - Pharmacy Practice Sections. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferred. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Boards exam (PTCE) or the National Healthcareer Associations exam (ExCPT) is required within 6 months of hire.
