National Grid Renewables is seeking a field-based project Construction Manager for wind and solar projects, most notably our upcoming projects focusing on utility scale solar. This position will be located at a specific project site - locations TBD throughout the US - current project locations are IL, OH, TX, SD, WI, MN and MI where the candidate will report directly to the Project Manager and Sr Director of Engineering and Construction.

What You Will Actually Do:

?? Facilitate field relationships for coordination with landowners, key project VIP's, AHJ's and EPC contractor's project team and our internal company EPC group.

?? Facilitate site meetings for coordination with local AHJ's, Interconnecting Utility project management, and any other key meeting coordination leading up to and throughout project duration.

?? Company's site presence to ensure - Schedule, Safety, Quality, Cost, Customer Service and responsible Community interaction goals are met.

?? Manage field resources to protect the company's interests and brand by making sure EPC actions are in-line with company cultures and project goals.

?? Track and report to leadership on main project goals - Schedule, Safety, Quality, Cost and responsible Community interaction.

?? Oversee the work and the overall QA/QC plan to ensure implementation and adherence, with focus on minimizing non-conformance.

?? Manage and ensure coordination of schedule and scope between EPC contractor, Owner- procured suppliers, Interconnect Utility, Engineers, Off-takers, Local Utilities and districts and Operations.

?? Ensure site safety program and adherence to all applicable OSHA standards.

?? Provide written weekly reports for internal and external reporting.

?? Lead field side of Budget, Payment, Change management and RFI processes.

?? Activities require the ability to remain in a stationary position roughly 40% of the time and move about an office and/or construction site 60% of the time.

What You Will Need:

?? 2 or 4 year post-secondary degree (preferred)

?? A minimum of four (4) years' construction management experience

?? A minimum of two (2) years' construction management experience in the renewable energy industry

?? Project Management certifications, recommended

?? Proficient with:

o MS Suite of Software tools

o Industry standard scheduling software (plus)

o Industry standard on-line based management software (plus)
