Concordia University seeks applications for the full-time, year round (12-month) position of Interim Administrative Assistant Office of the President. This position provides administrative, clerical and organizational support to the Executive Assistant to the President in support of the Office of the President. The individual must be able to perform in a highly professional manner, organize personal workflow, follow directions, take initiative and manage support functions for timely attainment of objectives and outcomes. This position is located on the Mequon, Wisconsin campus.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet and interact with constituents, students, faculty, staff and other visitorsPerform general office responsibilities including typing, meeting scheduling, processing of expenditures, and mail as directed by the Executive Assistant to the PresidentHandle travel arrangements for the President's officeEnter and maintain database information relating to President's Office and boardsProvide support for various campus events and programs on behalf of the President's OfficeAssist in support of the boardsPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent oral and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with demonstrated ability to work effectively and professionally with individuals and groupsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to prioritize multiple tasksFlexibility and the ability to deal with interruptions and work in a fast-paced office environment Above-average proficiency in office practices and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and outlook)Technology comfort and aptitude for usage of integrated database system and programs such as Constant Contact and Google Sheets.Ability to work some evenings and weekends for special eventsEducation and ExperienceA high school diploma or GED and two years of administrative office experience is required. Previous work experience in an academic setting and/or with college-aged students is preferred.Compensation and BenefitsThis is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) staff position. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
