Direct Hire Mold Maintenance Technician

This direct hire opportunity with a large plastics company is looking for a 2nd and 3rd shift Mold Maintenance Tech. Are you mechanically inclined and open to training?! Grow your professional career!
2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm
3rd Shift: 11pm to 7am
Pay: $17-24/hour based on experience
Job Duties:
??? Responsible for cleaning all injection molding tools at the end of each production run.
??? Make repairs or replace components as needed notifying management of repairs or replacements beyond in-house capability
??? All work is to be documented in tooling files and computer databases
??? Test and repair problems related to heaters, manifolds, and torpedoes.
??? Keep Mold Maintenance Supervisor posted of any supplies/tools needed
??? Build shipping crates for molds being repaired by outside vendors
Qualifications:
??? Above average mechanical aptitude
??? Ability to use precision measuring equipment and tool room equipment (mills, lathes, drill press, surface grinders, saws to fabricate parts, and EDM machines)
??? Aptitude for very close tolerance precision work
??? 1+ years' experience in a machine shop with the ability to read blueprints
??? Experience working with injection molding tools
??? Prior forklift experience preferred
