DescriptionThe Content Creator & Video Editor is responsible for the ideation, creation and development of ads using video, motion graphics and animation at a high proficiency level. This position provides creative support for daily production and long range assignments, contributes to group projects, and frequently works independently on assignments. The person in this role must have a performance-first approach to marketing to optimize and streamline creative decisions to give our DTC marketing programs the best chance in the marketplace to grow the Wantable brand. This is a hands-on position requiring individuals who possess strong conceptualization skills grounded in data and analytics, experience with DTC brands and direct response marketing, the ability to offer unique creative solutions, change direction easily, push their creativity and software skills to higher levels, exploit new technology, and actively communicate on all phases of a project to maintain the quality of Wantable's digital platforms. The Content Creator & Video Editor is a high level creative and technician who is expected to set the bar on quality, creativity, and implementation. The best fit for this role is a candidate who never settles for "good enough " and reacts in real-time to make creative decisions and leverage how the world responds to our creative to make it even better.Responsibilities: Create call-to-action short-form video advertisements for all of Wantable's digital and social media ad campaigns (may include but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other emerging platforms). Create and produce high-quality social media content to be used across paid and organic channels with the ability to tell continuous stories across newsfeeds, stories, Reels, TikTok, and Live placements. Create and develop engaging video and motion graphic ads for OTT, paid ads, and digital distribution based on past top performing campaigns and/or rooted in data or consumer preferences. Work autonomously to take initiative to pitch and ideate own iterations/refreshes on existing work. Receive constant constructive feedback on the videos' performance, and adapt to these learnings. Innovator in the DR ad space using video, motion graphics and design while maintaining strong understanding of industry trends. Translate project details and creative direction into unique design, motion graphics, and layout solutions. Research and implement cutting-edge technologies in the pursuit of next-level animation and motion graphic techniques and efficiencies. Requirements Understanding of paid digital advertising and social platform key drivers. Experience working natively within social media platforms to create real-time content. Show proficiency with branding guidelines and demonstrate advanced knowledge using Adobe CS and video motion software such as Premier Pro, Motion, and/or After Effects, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro. Create advanced videos, designs and animations for network productions, digital platforms, short and long-range assignments. This includes but not limited to the following skills: pacing, color correcting, audio editing, text placement, eye lines, motion graphics for social ads. Strong motion graphic skills with good understanding of animation principles and theory. Experience using many footage types Experience editing UGC (user generated content) or testimonial footage. Experience in Direct Response advertising and workflow. Possesses strong individual and team communication skills - effectively communicates out to Production and Project Assignment peers to ensure strong dialogue exists throughout the day & keep timelines & expectations on track. Regularly contribute ideas/initiatives, demonstrates desire to push creative and technology to the next level, shows aptitude to learn and share new software knowledge to enhance individual versatility on assignments. Possesses strong individual and team communication skills with the ability to take direction well. Maintains high standards of efficiency, consistency, accuracy, creativity and timely delivery of all requests. Must be highly motivated, work well under pressure, and able to effectively prioritize multiple assignments. Displays keen attention to detail, spelling and grammar. Qualifications:Performance-first marketing approach to optimize and streamline creative decisions to give our DTC marketing programs the best chance in the marketplace to grow the Wantable brand. Minimum of 6 years hands-on design, graphics, animation, or motion graphics experience in a major TV market, network, post-house, or digital level. Advanced experience in motion graphics and animation applications as well as knowledge of scripting capabilities, visual effects techniques. Passion for retail and strong knowledge of all digital platforms including social, and OTT programming. Ability to work some nights, weekends & holidays as needed Demonstrable creativity, video, motion graphics, layout, and animation ability with a strong portfolio
