Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Work in accordance with all safety regulations and safe job procedures (SJPs), standard work processes, global food safety (GFS) good manufacturing practices (GMP), and product quality requirements at all times.
  • At all times, actively engage in and live out values and guiding principles. Be a team member, treat each other with respect and a good steward of company resources.
  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance on various types of equipment including but not limited to facility systems, process controls, extruding lines, conveyors, ovens/dehydrators, tanks and piping, power distribution, and high-speed packaging equipment.
  • Participate in failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement (CI) activities to ensure the highest levels of asset and process reliability, availability and quality.
  • Perform various testing (ultrasonic, vibration, thermography, etc.) and recording of data on rotating, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic control devices, safety systems, piping, vessels and other associated equipment and systems.
Qualifications
  • At least three (3) years of experience with installation, calibration, fabrication, and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment or two (2) year degree or higher in Electrical Technology or Industrial Technology.
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
  • Experience with single and 3-phase electrical repair and troubleshooting up to 480 Volts.
  • Experience with fabrication and welding.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatics systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues and making repairs on bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes and conveyors.
  • Experience reading mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with precision alignment of motors, couplings, bearings, and pumps.
  • Experience working with preventative and predictive maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2nd Class B Boilers License
  • Electrical License
  • Experience troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC's.
  • Experience with Ladder Logic.
  • Experience with VFD's and motor control devices.
  • At least three (3) years industrial electrical repair experience and/or industrial maintenance experience.
  • At least one (1) year of experience troubleshooting PLCs.
