Job Skills / Requirements

Come work with the Elite at the refinery. All Military and Law Officers welcome! American Security is hiring for Level 2 positions in Inver Grove Heights, MN. Duties will include patrolling on foot, responding to and reporting on emergency situations and providing an array of services to customers and employees. The security officer will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring the facilities fire suppression system, burglar alarm system, employee entrances & employees, and monitoring CCTV systems.

Level 2 Officers could be involved in higher risk environments that may require performance of hands-on with the provided tools. Therefore all Level 2 Officers must pass Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT) training and Verbal Judo. Previous experience is a plus, but American will train for Level 2 positions. This is a contingent position, training to work all shifts to cover time off, vacations and holidays for other Officers.

High School Diploma/GED
