Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk

For 75 years Rice Lake Weighing Systems has been a successful, growth-oriented company known as a leader in the weighing industry and our community. We are seeking a Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounts Payable team.

The Accounts Payable Clerk performs a number of different Accounts Payable activities. These include processing vendor invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures, data entry of payables transactions, reconciliation of monthly vendor statements, communicating with internal colleagues and outside vendors as well as other accounting related tasks and projects assigned by the Controller. The candidate must perform all functions accurately to ensure proper payment of accounts.

This is a permanent Regular Part-Time position where the candidate can choose their working hours between core business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, as long as they maintain 24-30 hours per week.

Education and Experience

• Associate Degree in Accounting or related field
• One (1) or more years accounting experience
• One (1) or more years working with confidential information

Skills

• Strong computer, typing, and 10-key skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Thorough attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience with an ERP system
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
