Apply today to be a Concerned Veterans for America's (CVA) Grassroots Engagement Director in Southeast Wisconsin!

The Grassroots Engagement Director will identify, recruit, and engage like-minded individuals , especially among the veteran communities, mobilize them to take action, and drive policy reform that opens opportunities for all. America should stand for equal opportunity, freedom and liberty, and ever-increasing prosperity for every citizen. You will advance transformative policy that impacts veterans, active-duty military members, reservists, and their families. The mission is to grow CVA membership across the state in partnership with Americans for Prosperity (AFP).

Your Responsibilities Include
  • Every day you will talk to people from every background to build momentum around for new ideas that could change everything
  • You will develop strategies to identify, engage, organize, and educate local community groups to establish coalitions in support of Americans for Prosperity's initiatives
  • You will serve as the face of CVA with local community groups to share the vision of the organization and connect them to the opportunities to partner and advance shared interests
  • You will build coalitions with other like-minded veteran groups to multiple the effort to change society and effect positive policy changes


Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization
  • You're able to build relationships quickly with people from all walks of life and understand how to inspire and motivate others with what you have learned from your past service
  • You have knowledge of current events in state and federal public policy and can assist others in understanding and advocating for them
  • You have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation


Standout Candidates May Also Bring
  • Experience in grassroots advocacy and/or community organizing
  • Experience in political campaigns
