International Outreach Coordinator

Job Summary: 

There are two primary purposes for this essential position. First, the Outreach Coordinator will assure critical application, admission and enrollment procedures are being completed and reported in a timely manner. They will contact international applicants and counselors soliciting additional requirements and save all necessary documents and correspondence to the applicant’s file. Second, this position will work collaboratively with the Senior Associate Director of International Admissions, Director of International Enrollment and staff from Marketing/Communication to create effective student recruitment and marketing programs for international applicants, admits, and deposited students. The purpose of these outreach efforts is to identify, inform, engage, and persuade a qualified pool of prospective students to enroll at Concordia College. At times, this person will represent Concordia College both virtual and in-person recruitment events such as college fairs and high school visits.

• Contact prospective students in effort to complete their applications
• Review foreign credentials and calculate equivalent grade point averages.
• Assure accurate and efficient application material is saved in the institutional CRM
• Develop, implement, and manage an electronic social media campaign targeting new international students
• Develop and manage innovative, timely, and engaging virtual events for international students throughout each phase of the recruitment process.
• Work with student workers to promote Concordia College
• Serve as a campus representative for admission and scholarship programs.
• Report to the Director of International Enrollment and Global Learning

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
 

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in admission work of sales capacity
• Basic understanding of higher education
• Advance understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp
• Experience working with individuals from diverse background and cultures.
• Proficiency in a second language.
