Position Information

Exciting opportunities exist for a part-time nursing instructor to teach, guide, supervise and evaluate student nurses in the clinical setting at Bismarck State College in the Practical Nursing program. Approximately 9 - 18 hours per week including fall, spring, and summer semesters.

This is a part-time, non-benefited position.

Hourly pay is based on degree earned: Bachelor's $41.81; Master's $45.75; Doctorate $47.44

Required Competencies

Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) and/or master's degree in nursing (MSN) and current RN license in North Dakota.

Two years nursing experience.

Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups.

Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent written communication skills.

Good computer software skills - Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, etc., Outlook E-mail and Calendar, and strong Internet familiarity.

Preferred Qualifications

Adult health teaching experience.
