CorTech is in search of motivated an reliable Post Blend Operators for a client in Milton, WI
Temp to Hire
2nd shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
$17.25/hr + .75 shift differential
Monday-Friday
Summary:
To provide a uniform method for post blending raw materials. It is the responsibility of the production
operator to perform the steps detailed in this instruction and as otherwise specified by Production and/or
Quality Management.
General:
Post blending is the process of blending material from production and/or stock resulting in a uniform
blend.
Essential operator activities include the following (others may be assigned):
Start Up
* Ensure blender is clean; if required, clean the lid, interior and discharge valve with an air hose; if
additional cleaning is required, use a water hose, cleaning solution, rags, scraper and scrub pad
as needed; if unsure if the blender is clean enough, consult your supervisor.
* obtain a clean fiber or plastic drum
* obtain all materials to be post blended from the production area, lab and/or warehouse
Operation
* Load all material to be post blended into the blender or drum tumbler
* Blender
* Secure the lid and turn on the machine; mix until uniform
* Drum Tumbler
* Secure the lid onto the drum; place the drum on the Drum Tumbler; turn on the Tumbler and mix until uniform; note that time will vary according to material type and amount; consult with your supervisor for time.
Tote Tumbler
* Secure the lid and discharge plate.
* After mixing is complete
* Blender
* Discharge a retain sample for the Quality Control lab
Drum Tumbler
* Remove drum from tumbler; obtain a retain sample for Quality Control lab; label
drum with product code and batch number
Materials approved as finished goods by Quality Control; obtain the appropriate packaging
containers as indicated on the batch card and/or Production Management and/or Quality
Management
