MLEC ACCOUNTANT BILLING AND MEMBER SERVICES

Position will supervise/manage and oversee, Billing and Member Service functions. The position also prepares and completes monthly accounting, billing processes, and maintains CIS billing software system. Oversees Collection process and capital credit allocation and retirement process.

Requirements:

• Applicants must have Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting (equivalent education or experience may be substituted).
• Must have at least 5 years of Management/Supervisory experience in Customer Service, Accounting or Billing.
• Additional qualifications include strong management skills, including project management and tracking skills, sound decision making related to the duties of the position, ability to prioritize aptly and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work independently and assist with development and implementation of policies and programs.
• Required to complete Rural Utility Services (RUS) Accounting Course within 1 year of start date.
• Preferred Experience includes conflict management and problem resolution, experience with NISC software, Cooperative or utility industry experience and Crystal Report Writing.
