The position will require you to handle live communications with clients and others in the portables department. The ideal candidate for this position must be mechanically inclined, have an outgoing personality, be organized, and be able to maintain a high level of professional conduct. Apply and find out why LVC is the right employer for you.Essential Functions:Perform inspections, service, and installations on a variety of fire protection equipment with your focus on portable fire extinguishers and Emergency/Exit lighting. Additional fire protection/life safety equipment as your skills develop. Seek out additional sales and service opportunities within existing customer locations and advise the customer of code compliance needs.Develop long-term relationships with customers and maintain customer retention.Collaborate with our service sales team to identify ways to expand the services we can offer our client base. Previous experience in pre-engineered fire suppression systems is a plus.Qualifications/Skills: Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledgeAbility to lift 75 lbs+, safely use ladders, work overhead and work in tight spacesA self-starter with the ability to work efficiently and with minimal supervisionHighly organized and detail-oriented Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable interacting with external and internal partners in a knowledgeable and helpful mannerAbility to learn quickly is a mustExperience with Field Connect software a plus Education/Experience:High school degree or equivalent LVC Companies, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer as defined by the EEOC
