Our client is an established company in the Madison, Wi area and is looking for a Payroll/HR Specialist to join their awesome team of 4! They need someone to start immediately!

Overview of the Payroll/HR Specialist Role:

  • Process and import payroll weekly with appreciate notifications to the corporate office. Biweekly process and reconciliation of paychecks
  • Maintaining all employee files and responding to inquiries as needed Bank and account reconciliations.
  • Managing the collections and reporting of data for current participation in OR workshare program
  • Handle all HR related tasks such as worker's compensation, employment verifications, recruiting and FMLA.
  • Work directly with corporate accounting for month end financial requirements such as journal entry prep, account reconciliations, and inventory management.

Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll/HR Specialist:

  • 3+ years' experience or similar
  • Experience with JD Edwards a plus
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented and solid communication skills
