Digital Marketing Internship

What you will do : Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Milwaukee, WI. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below. How you will do it: Social Media Analytics project This project will deep dive into the nearly 1 million people following enterprise Johnson Controls LinkedIn account. Using LinkedIn's data coupled with desktop research tactics, the goal of the project is to gain a better understanding of the types of people following the account. This information will allow us to optimize content, create plans to strategically increase our following and inform targeted paid campaigns. Search Engine Optimization project This project will focus on doing research to identify keywords JohnsonControls.com should be ranking for to align with our customers. Once keyword lists are created and vetted, the intern will work with the global content team to update copy on key pages and measure results. Other Responsibilities The Digital Marketing Intern will support the Global Marketing Team on their organic and paid social campaigns, web campaign page development, Pardot form creation. This may also include: * Compiling information in PowerPoint for presentations * Assisting in organic social campaign and post ideation * Maintaining an up-to-date competitive repository of competitor landscape * Support social and web teams with day-to-day projects and perform other duties as assigned * Collect and package data from LinkedIn analytics, Social Studio, SEOmoz, Google Search Console and Google Analytics * Use research skills to find complementary data from free sources available online * Analyze data to make recommendations to optimize activities in the web and social work streams * Work inclusively with other team members * Remain organized with an attention to detail and focus on delivering excellence This is a full-time summer 2021 internship with the option to carry on into fall. The position is starting immediately.
