Cedar Community is theonlynot-for-profit, faith-based senior retirement community to provide comprehensive residential and health care services for older adults based in Washington County, Wisconsin. With campuses in West Bend and Elkhart Lake. The communities Wisconsin senior living options and services feature:Natural settings on beautiful campuses and lake-living amenitiesLife-enhancing programs and opportunitiesBest-in-class health care servicesVibrant senior independent living options featuring ranch homes and apartmentsAssisted living communities providing personal care and peace of mindLong-term nursing households with five-star care and engaging activitiesAward-winning memory care within calm, inviting cottage neighborhoodsJOB REQUIREMENTS: Complete all worker's compensation claims promptly and forward to third party administrator as required.Schedule follow-up with Occupational Health for all work related injuries and return to work requirements for non-work related illnesses/injuries to ensure all staff are fit for duty to return to work.Develop, implement, and enforce return to work policies and procedures across the organization.Maintain worker's compensation files of team members, review files with third party administrator as needed.Review and investigate all team member incident reports of work-related injuries/near misses and follow up as necessary with supervisor completing team member incident report. Perform root cause analyses on all work related injuries and near misses.Follow-up with team members who have work injuries. Schedule appropriate transitional duty work as recommended by Occupational Health. Communicate with Occupational Health regarding all aspects of the incident and follow-up required.Communicate through corporate publications and professional education accurate and appropriate information regarding work related safety performance.Assist departments with implementing transitional duty as needed to return team members back into the work environment following a work related injury or other off work situation.Maintain and post OSHA logs for all Cedar Community facilities as required by OSHA regulations.Provide training to managers and supervisors in worker's compensation investigations, documentation and follow through.Assist with any HR related tasks as needed to keep employment processes functioning properly.Participate in the Safety / Emergency Preparedness committee.EducationHigh School Diploma, OSHA 10 Hour Certification; 2 or 4 year degree in business or occupational safety preferred
