Position involves:Creative and production design of printed materials for various industries around the country. Includes books, catalogs, direct mail and more. Assist Creative Director in direct mail campaigns other marketing pieces. Work with Creative Director, clients and sales to develop creative briefs and proposed visual campaigns.Adhere to and protect client brand assets with Visual Brand Identity Guidelines.Ability to design a project with final production in mind -- including utilization, functionality, stock and print processes.Understands the importance of accuracy and proofreads to produce precise, high-quality work. We seek candidates with the following qualifications:Creative artistic ability in the layout, aesthetics and design of commercial quality customer orders.Strong skill set in creative concepting from ideation to final design and production.High degree of competence using Mac hardware and desktop design software, primarily Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. social media is a plus but not required.Understanding of print production process to mirror design with production capabilities.High degree of quality and accuracy consciousness.Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Works well in a team environment.Excellent communication skills.Two-year degree in commercial art or graphics design is required. Three years minimum experience required. Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday Friday. Starting Pay Range $20.50-$22.50, commensurate with experience. Post offer drug screen required. EOE.
