JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Retail Operations supports and oversees the revenue-producing retail operations at Christmas Mountain Village. Your areas of management; Golf, Ski, Food & Beverage, Pro Shop Retail, and Marketing Operations with oversight of these outlets to drive revenue performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Profitability of business unit or retails outlets, Ski, Golf, F&B, Proshop
  • Manager & exempt employee development
  • Sales & marketing strategies
  • Strategic community relationships and Brand Standards
  • Develop and provide measurement of campaign and overall marketing investment impact from prospecting all the way through to the actual booking of new/incremental revenue
  • Assists in the development and implementation of advertising and promotional campaigns designed to generate membership sales.
  • Assists in coordination of all club events to include invitations, mailings and other publicity. Maintains and develop strong relationships with current members to encourage participation in club events and maintain a high level of member satisfaction. Participates in events to ensure member engagement, identify and capture additional opportunities for member recruitment
  • Ensures, and is fully accountable for budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor costs and profitability.
  • Utilizes daily, weekly, quarterly and annual financial reporting tools.
  • Targets areas of excess cost; Works with management team to maximize profitability through targeted, organized approach.
  • Takes responsibility for P&L management and strives for positive results every month.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

  • 2+ years of retail management experience in a related environment- preferably in golf or ski operations.
  • 2+ years of F&B Management
  • Must be familiar with the daily operations of a retail outlet, including managing budgets and financials.
  • Customer service leadership
  • Valid Driver's License
  • MSOffice Suite
  • Always maintain professional conduct and appearance.
  • Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the business organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to delegate work assignments in an organized fashion.
  • Ability to anticipate and assess guests needs and is sociable and outgoing with people.
  • Remain calm and composed in demanding and stressful work situations.
  • Flexible or adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations.
