Job Summary
The Employee Health Coordinator possesses high level human relations and technical computer skills to effectively communicate and coordinate with the employee health team and other health system and external stakeholders for coordination and implementation of Altru's Employee Health programs. These include but are not limited to the hospital respiratory protection program, hearing conservation program, hazardous drug program, vaccination programs, annual employee health requirements, vaccinations programs, and onboarding new employees.
The Employee Health Coordinator demonstrates effective written and oral communication skill including ability to translate meeting information into written notes format and effectively utilize email and other electronic communications.
Essential Job Functions
Assist with special projects as requested.
Coordinate Employee Health Programs including Respiratory Protection, Immunizations, Onboarding new employees/distant hires.
Assistance with scheduling of department meetings and employee health leadership meetings.
Keyboarding and computer skills and tasks including Microsoft office program I.e. word documents, excel workbooks, and spreadsheets.
Assist with monitoring and response of employee health email account.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
