Job Details
This is a full time, twelve month position with varying hours as needed (includes days, evenings, and week-ends). The hourly wage is $24.97. This position is located at Bemidji High School.
The main functions of this position are (1) coordinating and managing the broadcast of school board meetings, student productions and athletic events, (2) coordinating and managing the daily operation of and special event productions in the high school auditorium including sound and lighting, and (3) providing technical assistance to staff and students on broadcast and auditorium equipment.
Applicants must have knowledge of and ability to diagnose and repair sound and lighting systems, McIntosh and PC operating systems, video production equipment and broadcasting systems and equipment.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to applicants who have formal training and/or work experience in broadcasting, sound and lighting systems, computer systems and video production.
