Suez Water Technologies & Solutions is currently searching for an Electrical Engineering Technician to support the production of water filtration products. The production of water purification filters is a growing business which addresses the ever-increasing need for water. We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong engineer technician to support our manufacturing facility. Come be a part of this exciting and growing technology!

Essential Responsibilities

??? Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet Environmental/Health/Safety (EHS), production, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget Interface with vendors and internal contacts

??? Improve quality, uptime and yield of manufacturing processes including documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lead and cycle time improvements, and cost of quality (COQ)

??? Ensure EHS compliance and support culture to continuously improve Safety performance

??? Create process characterization documentation, and operationalize documentation use through effective communication, training, and sustainment actions

??? Assure that all engineering designs and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide an accurate technical / historical base for future reference and to meet customer / end user requirements.

• Develops expert knowledge in instrument and electrical aspects of operations.
• Ensures operation of machinery and electrical equipment by completing preventive and predictive maintenance requirements on machinery and electrical equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Performs skilled electrical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience as a licensed Journeyman Electrician with vocational certification in related field or high school diploma/GED with 3 to 5+ years related work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of plant manufacturing or supply chain experience.
• Possesses knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable laws, rules, and standards regulating electrical construction and installation practices.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, as required.
• Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes, as required.
• Ability and willingness to perform frequent lifting and bending motions, as required.
• Ability and willingness to utilize manual dexterity when manipulating materials to filter housings, as required.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and team skills
• Proficient in computer programs, i.e. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

??? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university

??? Experience with water filtration products

??? Experience developing process control recipes, adding control logic & alarming to enhance process control, and developing and installing HMI graphics

??? Experience in building or sourcing parts/equipment for new and existing unit operations

??? Experience with data analysis tools

??? Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement
