Senior Content Marketing Writer

Anaplan's content marketing team are full-stack content marketers: we can tell engaging stories, create scalable content production machines, drive sophisticated measurement systems, and more. We are looking for a senior content marketing writer with substantial experience writing for enterprise SaaS content marketing efforts. You can turn complex, feature-heavy narratives into beautifully written blogs and compelling, well-structured eBooks.

In addition to being an experienced writer in the SaaS space, you are skilled in working with designers, web project managers, technical and business experts, and other writers. Furthermore, you thrive in fast-moving environments where you could edit a blog post, interview a subject matter expert for an eBook, and write email marketing copy all in one day.

Your Qualifications, Your Influence
  • Manage our corporate blog: Bring Anaplan's corporate blog strategy to life by creating an editorial calendar around our themes, working with subject matter experts, and demand generation stakeholders.
  • Write and edit demand gen assets: Work with the content strategy director and demand generation team to understand campaign themes and create the "big rock" asset and related derivative pieces, including eBooks, blogs, and white papers.
  • Be a champion for our style guide and tone of voice: Bring our brand voice, tone, and style guide to life by advocating for and creating clear, consistent, and concise content.
  • Project manage your deliverables: Work with project owners and stakeholders to create timelines, negotiate priorities, and communicate schedule trade-offs. Use our marketing project management tool - Workfront- to create and follow content development workflows.
Preferred Skills And Technical Familiarity
  • A portfolio of writing samples for eBooks, blogs, and white papers in the enterprise technology space
  • 5+ years of experience writing and editing high-quality eBooks, blogs, webinar scripts, and recaps for enterprise SaaS
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to own and drive schedules from start to finish
  • Experience working in a fast-paced work environment and able to multitask on a variety of different projects
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills who is willing to pitch in on a variety of content-related projects
  • Love for the creative process, including brainstorming with designers and marketing stakeholders
