Overview

The Electrical Assembly Technician will be responsible for the Electrical assembly, installation, and support of automation systems.



Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities:

    • Assemble and wire automation control panels
    • Install and wire on machine controls equipment (sensors, safety devices, motors, etc..)
    • Install and maintain automation systems
    • Assist engineering staff with I/O checks
    • Troubleshoot and repair problems found during testing
    • Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed automation systems.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Interact with engineering staff both verbally and in written form
    • Participate in project reviews to help ensure projects are completed on time and budget consistent with customers' expectations.
    • Operate in a team environment to help meet or exceed customer expectations.
    • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

          • Solid math skills and ability to read and convert measurements
          • Experience with power tools and hand tools
          • Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics
          • Effectively follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks
          • Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe working environment
          • Self-motivated and team oriented
          • Quality driven with attention to detail
          • Able to effectively communicate with team members to complete tasks??
          • Problem solving skills
          • Proficient user of Microsoft Office products.
          • We will provide training to give you the base knowledge and necessary tools you will need to be successful!

Education:

          • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

          • Maintenance technician: 2 years (Preferred) but not essential
          • Panel building: 1 years (Preferred) but not essential
          • Automated control: 2 years (Preferred) but not essential
