Project Manager- Event Management

Genesis10 is currently looking for a Project Manager with Large Event Planning for a 12 month project for a client in Minneapolis MN. Will work hybrid of on site/remote.

Summary:
Project Manager for Strategic Meeting Management for planning large cross-organizational events. Examples include: Leadership Conference, Women's events, Executive Leadership Summit.

Responsibilities:

• Will help drive consistency and standards with how we plan, communicate and coordinate these large events.
• Scheduling, preparation for and facilitation of meetings.
• Documentation of meeting notes.
• Tasks planning, tracking, management, accountability.
• Decision management (e.g., potential for site reviews, working with event vendors, planning with speakers, etc.).
• Forecast and budget management for each event.
• Prepare event playbook to drive consistency over time for large event management.
• Project Manager will be accountable to the owners for the events. There are different owners for the different events.

Qualifications:

• Required experience with large, cross-organizational event planning.
• Passion and enthusiasm for work meetings and the work should be fun.
• Executive presence is absolutely paramount.
• Diplomacy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leaders.
• Efficiency ability to "run a tight ship.
