Mixer - ReadyFoods

OVERVIEW: The Mixer prepares, cuts, and blends, and packages produce products.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

• Wash, peel, cut, prep, and package various fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure produce
• Blend and prepare product
• Scoop and package product into containers
• Preforms quality control
• Follow company safety and food safety procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
• Maintain and adhere to GMPs
• Accurately record and document equipment readings
• Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES:

• Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment
• Must have good attendance
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions and respond to management direction

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6 months production experience
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs regularly, 100lbs with assistance occasionally
• Work in an environment that is 34 - 36 degrees

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently exposed to slippery, wet, and cold (35 degrees) conditions. The employees work will be done in a fast paced environment. To perform the duties of the job the employee will be required to use sharp knives and manufacturing kitchen equipment while following the companies safety and food safety policies and procedures.
