Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a full-time, 2nd or 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you will perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and around the building.
• Troubleshoot problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Install and repair electrical or electronic devices/components as needed.
• Repair/replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators & related equipment.
• Utilize supplier resources to help troubleshoot mechanic issues, as necessary. Supervise technicians when onsite if preventative maintenance or repair cannot be done in-house.
• Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment such as programmable controllers.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the maintenance and spare parts areas.
• Follow Company safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Knowledge

• 2+ years' industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 2 year degree in electromechanical field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings (electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic, etc.).
• Adherence to health and safety regulations.
