Working as a change agent with senior business stakeholders, the Process and Information Technology Solution Analyst plays a key part in shaping and fostering continuous improvement, business transformation, and business innovation initiatives in the Finance area. They must have a solid understanding of the Finance function’s existing business processes, the key drivers, and measures of success for the business, and short and long-term direction of the business and related technologies. The successful candidate must be able to document, design and implement major business processes as well as define new processes, procedures, and technologies.  This position is open to a location of Statesville, NC or West Fargo, ND.

Role & Responsibility

General
  • Analyze business issues and business requests from a process and solution perspective. 
  • Work closely with Finance business teams to create strategies for improving day-to-day operations and overall functioning.
  • Study how people live, work, and use technology to improve processes and technology adoption. 
  • Represent the users in user/reference groups where key users not available.

Leadership
  • Maintain relationship with regional and global affiliates for systems which are global in scope.
  • Build strong relationships with power users within business functions.
  • Development and mentoring of business process management capabilities in our Process & Information Technology and functional Business Units.
  • Apply knowledge of external markets/trends, industry research, and new technology to daily role.

Solution Delivery
  • Lead fit gap analysis of existing processes and business case development for new requests.
  • Manage project teams and deliverables.
  • Understand Agile principles and work with business partners to build Epic/Feature/User Stories. 
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to manage day-to-day business operations.
  • Facilitate operational efficiency, improve organizational communication and overall service.


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience in related field/discipline.
  • CPA not required, but would be beneficial.
  • 5+ years related experience managing & implementing business process changes and leading teams.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, FP&A, or business related fields in Financial Services.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials, Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services, Oracle Analytics Cloud Services would be beneficial.
  • Project management experience (both Traditional Waterfall and Agile), including process discovery and documentation.
  • Ability to analyze and design business processes. 
  • Process improvement vision and process performance management.
  • Ability to develop product requirements based on input gathered from a variety of sources including analysis results and feedback from the user community. 
  • Ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements. 
  • Ability to review project deliverables for completeness and quality, and compliance with established project standards.
  • Excellent cross-functional teamwork skills. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
