Job DescriptionSummaryThe role of the Receptionist involves supporting consumers, visitors, employees, telephone messages and calls in an engaging and professional manner. In addition to this, a receptionist has to perform various clerical duties, which support in the presentation and operation of a professional organization. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnswers telephone, direct, screen calls, taking and relaying messages. Receives copies, distributes and sends faxes.Provides information to callers, greeting persons entering organization ensuring they sign in and show identification.Deals with queries or requests from the customers and public.Provide general clerical and administrative support to all levels of professionals.Prepares letters and documents, receiving and sorting out e-mail and deliveries.Ensures that common areas in office premises are equipped with required office supplies as appropriate.Coordinates the maintenance of repair of office equipment.Performs other clerical duties as necessary.Experience and SkillsEducation / Training / SkillsRequires education generally equivalent to a High School diploma, plus some specialized training.Requires up to 3 months of general office experience.Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.Requires a general knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.Requires effective oral and written communication skills in interacting with employeesJob BenefitsPTOCasual dressCompany paid training/ongoing professional development opportunitiesMedical Benefits - We pay up to 90% of the premiumOpportunities for advancementTuition reimbursement401k contributionsEmployee Assistance ProgramLoan Forgiveness after 7 years
