ResponsibilitiesOpening September 2021, Granite Hills Hospital will offer high-quality, patient centered behavioral health care for the greater Milwaukee community. Our 120-bed facility will feature evidence-based treatment for adolescents, adults, and older adults. We are looking for looking for a Director of Risk Management/Performance Improvement to join our new team. The Director of Risk Management/Performance Improvement, has broad responsibility to protect the hospital's assets from loss and ensure the hospital's compliance at all times with all Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulatory agencies standards and requirements. The Director is responsible for coordinating the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and for making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for staff training and education on the hospital's performance initiatives and measures including outcomes measurement and reporting. QualificationsThe Director of Risk Management/Performance Improvement position requires: Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required. Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university in nursing, or related health field is preferred. Master's Degree preferred. Combination of education and experience considered. Experience: Four (4) years of experience in quality and risk management/improving organizational performance within an acute medical or psychiatric treatment setting. Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of JOINT COMMISSION, state of Wisconsin standards, CMS standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
