With our wide range of products producs produced at this site, such as convenience food packaging and lawn care packaging, we have increased product demand with our plans to expand and grow our workforce in our Converting, Press and Slitting departments. Oshkosh North has all four business processes allowing us to take our raw material/resin pellets, melt them down and create rolls of film which are printed on, cut/slit to meet customer specifications, and then we convert those rolls into bags and packages; completing the final product.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:

Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
Performs necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and facility.
Creates and understands the work order process using SAP.
Problem solves issues concerning equipment operation and manufacturing processes where these relate to maximizing output.
Involvement in developmental project work including working with R&D, manufacturing and outside equipment and parts vendors.
Maintains spare parts inventory including ordering necessary parts and completing purchase requisitions.
Functions as part of the technical resources for the on-site staff.
Participates in and supports World Class Operations Management (WCOM) teams.
Knowledge of procedures, work instructions and associated forms as required by the Key Area Leader.

SCHEDULE: Work a Monday through Friday 3:00pm-1:00am schedule OR a 2-2-3 straight nights schedule.

***Compensation based off of schooling and skillset. Compensation range is a depiction of average hours worked with overtime and premiums.
