Join our dedicated team of professionals!We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! Position SummaryThe Facilities Maintenance & EHS Tech III is responsible for an advanced level of building and ground repairs, major facilities equipment installation and repairs, and support as needed for manufacturing equipment repairs. This position will also be responsible for maintaining and improving company safety systems (OSHA & EPA) to reduce risk exposure for all types of loss including employee injury and property loss or damage.Essential Job Functions Plan and perform work relating to repair of buildings and groundsRecommend improvements and changes for increased quality or efficiencyPerform preventative maintenance per scheduleMentor, train the Facilities Maintenance Tech I & II positionsWork independently on projects of advanced complexity Coordinate, develop, and oversee the general health and safety standards for the companyImplement initiatives as needed to reduce and prevent incidents that might lead to injuries or lossDevelop safety and compliance systemsProvide technical support in areas such as Industrial Hygiene, Machine Guarding, and other areas requiring safety education and experienceConduct periodic audits of processes used to control lossEnter production information into the ERP system on a timely basisAccurately record and report hours worked Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard workPartner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and financeUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serveEnsure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properlyParticipate in required company meetings Maintain an organized work area (5S)Participate in the Operational Excellence Program Complete all other work duties as assignedAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentMinimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA's and certifications) 3-5 years of facility maintenance experience1-3 years of experience in EHS related field5 years of experience in a manufacturing facilitySelf-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervisionIntermittent exposure to safe levels of cleaning solutions, solvents, and solder (lead) fumes Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents Mechanical AptitudeDexterity and hand and eye coordinationAttention to detailStrong problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks Ability to collaborate and assist team members, provide input to the area lead, and attend and participate in meetingsAbility to cross train in other areas of production when requiredMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)Clear and effective verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailOrganizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to prioritize and multitaskDesirable Criteria & QualificationsCertificates Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizationsPhysical & Environmental DemandsCretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process.
