Must Haves
- 3+ years' experience in an equipment maintenance position.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical literature and electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, pump rebuilds, valves and gasket replacement.
- Basic operational knowledge of machine components, including AC & DC motors, PLC, machine and control panel wiring, industrial sensors, control I/O, precision bearings, lead screws, linear guides, power transmission systems, safety guarding and pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
- Basic computer skills (internet and email) and the ability to manage data in our maintenance software, Managers Plus.
- Organized, with value placed on aesthetic appearance of maintenance work that is completed.
- HS Diploma required; technical training and/or some college course in an industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
- Special certifications in maintenance related areas (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) a plus. Ability and eagerness to learn
- Strong work ethic
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position lift up to 70 lbs, stand, bend, climb and work in tight areas, hearing ability, clear vision or reasonable alternative.
- Able to work overtime, and willing to respond to on-call requests for assistance to ensure continuity of production.
- Valid driver's license required.
