YOUR ROLE

  • 7 direct reports: 2 receiving associates, 3 material handlers, and 2 container cleaning associates to ensure proper inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods at the Oak Creek facility to ensure a six-day lead-time and 95% minimum on-time shipping.
  • Supervise personnel in the procurement, storage, and minimum inventory levels of raw materials to meet schedule requirements.
  • Responsible for site carrier management, assuring that all packaging meets local, state, and federal regulations and maintaining the facility's cargo security plan.
  • Support plant initiatives such as safety, environmental, quality and 5S.
  • Oversee returnable containers to support our customer's needs.


YOUR SKILLS

  • BS/BA degree in Logistics, Inventory Control, Supply Chain, or Engineering preferred but not required
  • Previous supervision/manager experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize/prioritize and handle competing deadlines
  • At least 5 years in inventory management or manufacturing background

Desired:
  • APICS certification
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Experience with SAP
  • Continuous Improvement Leadership
