Data is at the heart of what we do. We use the power of analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and resources from our research partners to aggregate and distribute insights in a repeatable, governed process. All with the intention of understanding our members better and helping to deliver a better member experience. This Senior VOC Data Manager will be responsible for the integration, management, and interpretation of data to improve the member experience, increase NPS, and support Marketing efforts for the Government Programs line of business. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Assessing and interpreting customer data needs and requirements Owning the set-up, management, and optimization of new and existing VOC data sources & attributes Building relationships with our strategic data partners across the organization Creating and maintaining data enrichment strategies to continue adding to our analytical capabilities Managing data quality, tracking, reporting (+ other communication), and ad-hoc analysis Executing on long-term data strategies to pursue maturity and efficiencies Mastering our current data and analytical tools Regularly connecting with our data partners and analysts - leading cadenced touch bases Serving as a SME and influencer for VOC strategy, including but not limited to: Overall analysis, measurement, and insights delivery Identification and prioritization of existing and future sources of member feedback Selection and utilization of VOC tools NLP modeling and query building Dashboarding functionality and presentation Self-Service tools and resources You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: College degree or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Data visualization and analysis Reporting/business intelligence Statistical modeling Business analysis and strategic insights delivery Advanced level of proficiency with MS Excel Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to form meaningful relationships with teammates and stakeholders Experience creatively problem-solving - juggling multiple priorities and overcoming conflicting research or inaccurate data If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Finance, Math or similar 3+ years of experience working with customer feedback or other CX data sources Direct Government Programs, UnitedHealthcare, or other related healthcare experience Experience working with virtual teammates and stakeholders Experience using natural language processing technology (e.g., Clarabridge) and/or machine learning algorithms to perform analysis Data enrichment process development or execution Tableau dashboard development or user experience Additional experience in NICE/Nexidia, SAS, Qualtrics, data architecture, or data lake/big data solutions, UCEE or FIN360 Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence all levels of an organization, regardless of direct authority. Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
