We are seeking an Administrative Operations Assistant to:

Support a team of 25 physician informaticists (6 FTE) in day to day operations -- calendaring, meeting coordination and minutes, call schedules, and travel/expenses.
Establish and maintain visual management for tracking project portfolio.
Create and maintain a simple, central and easily accessible home for team information (e.g. Sharepoint, email distribution lists, contact information, etc).
Assist in the hiring process and onboarding new providers to the team.
Work in close collaboration with Executive Admin assistants and other support staff from clinical departments, IS, and operations. Education:

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field

Work Experience:

Minimum

One year of experience in an administrative support role Preferred

Three years of experience in an administrative support function.
Previous experience in a health care setting. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills. Experience with word processing, database and spreadsheet software programs.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, department administrative staff, interdepartmental contacts and the general public.
Ability to plan and organize the workflow in a busy office/unit environment and be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to be flexible in response to changing demands.
Ability to handle a high volume of work under pressure.
Resourceful in problem solving, initiative and good judgment Physical Requirements:

Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position that is scheduled to work Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Hours may vary based upon the operational needs of the department.
