Our current expertise includes data, video, COE, and outside plant engineering.The Environment Engineer is responsible for providing professional leadership and direction on how to design, inspect and carry out environmental projects; ensuring they are compliant with laws and industry regulations.Responsibilities includeProvides extensive environmental expertise to manage assigned environmental projects or programs through application of professional knowledge and skill in Environmental Engineer practices, processes and techniques.Responsible for executing assigned projects or program element(s) by contract, to comply with all applicable Federal, state, and local environmental laws and policies.Provides advisory services on specific problems, projects, programs, and functions in assigned program area. Serves as the installations most knowledgeable technical consultant on environmental compliance laws and regulations.Complies with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures and performs work that enhances the safety of the work environment. Qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in relevant subject; environmental, chemical, civil and/or mechanical engineeringSeven or more years of experience in the collection and analyzing of environmental data to create environmental improvement projects at an engineer level Seven or more years of experience with project management specifically relating to the construction or redesign and rebuild of projects that lead to meeting environmental protection regulationsEPA and OSHA Certifications in Environmental compliance; such as the CAA, SPCC, RCRA, NPDES and CWA Valid driver's license free from inordinate amount of violationsCompass Consultants is located in Perham, Minnesota, the heart of Minnesota's lake country with over 400 lakes in the area.
