Assembly - 1st Shift

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual who is reliable and will demonstrate good attendance! This is a 1st shift temp-to-hire opportunity with a schedule of Monday through Thursday 5:30 am to 4:00 pm. Responsibilities:

• Use various tools to assemble trailers; including but not limited to, hand drill, hammer, needle gun, caulk gun, chisel, disk sander, rivet gun, etc.
• Position and fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets or other fasteners
• Prepare metal surfaces and clean trailer components with solvents
• Caulk all required trailer seams and joints
• Perform measurement layouts per blueprints
• Operate overhead cranes
• Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy
• Provide direct assistance to supervisor as needed
• Maintain organized and safe work area
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training required
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and work performance
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, tape measures and company documents for work area
• Basic math skills required, especially fractions
• Ability to operate computerized automated equipment
• Able to climb and balance on ladders and scaffolding
• Ability to work mandatory overtime
• Must be able to follow all company policies and procedures
• Weekly paychecks with QTI
