Job Description and Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Schedule operations and make shipping arrangements to satisfy customer casting needs. Coordinate jobs through shop in relation to production schedules.Prepare Bill of Lading for customers shipping/trucking.Track delivery performance. Execute and distribute computer reports to appropriate management.Review shipping releases and determine if decreases or increases in order quantities are needed.Contact and receive calls from customers on changes in production schedules, adjustments to customer orders, and shipping schedules.Establish priority for completion to meet production needs.Answer phonesUPS/FED EX incoming/outgoingMaintain adequate stock of safety and office supplies and reorder as necessaryAssist in various administrative duties as requested
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:1 year general office. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Corporate mainframe system software.EDUCATION, TRAINING, SKILLS AND OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: H.S. diploma, in-house or outside training as required.TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS USED (IF APPLICABLE):ExcelWordOffice EquipmentSAFETY AND HEALTH EQUIPMENT REQUIRED (IF APPLICABLE): All personal protective equipment, as needed, including eye protection, hearing protection, safety footwear, hardhat, as well as any other equipment.
