Portfolio Solutions Specialist

Portfolio Solutions Specialists support financial professionals in understanding how to implement various investment strategies into their practice. In order to support advisor and client investment challenges, the Portfolio Solutions Specialists must have a deep working knowledge of major product lines such as mutual funds and annuities, an ability to connect investor challenges to portfolio solutions, and educate financial professionals on how to implement these solutions into their practice.

Portfolio Solutions Specialists will provide education to advisors through inbound and outbound phone activity, support key institution training opportunities, manage webinars, etc.

What you will do:

• Consult with advisors to deliver portfolio solutions specific to client scenarios
• Provide specific product support
• Support advisor education on key investment challenges such as retirement income, college planning, legacy planning, HNW, small accounts, etc.
• Track phone metrics to measure activity, types of questions, etc.
• Provide leads to Wealth Management Consulting team when appropriate
• Lead advisor discussions toward holistic wealth management
• Provide industry trend insights to advisors
• Support marketing and educational campaigns through inbound and outbound calls with advisors

What you need to have:

• 5+ years of financial services and/or financial services sales experience
• A deep functional understanding of investment and protection products, particularly annuities and mutual funds.
• Current, active FINRA Series 6 or Series 7
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
