Job Description Summary :

The Project Manager II leads the initiating, planning, managing, and completing of small through large projects efficiently and effectively leveraging shared resources. Is responsible for the use, improvement, and mentorship of ThedaCare's project management methodologies.

Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Manages a project throughout the life cycle from initiation to implementation, including transition to the operational areas to support ongoing sustainability. Ensures projects are aligned with ThedaCare business objectives and any other compliance and regulatory requirements to meet the expectations of project leaders and users while delivering on time, within budget, and within scope.

2. Establishes, monitors, and reports out on the project budget to ensure standards are followed and information services and project leaders are kept abreast of status.

3. Monitors, compares, and analyzes actual project performance/metrics with planned project performance/metrics and takes corrective action to yield the desired outcome when significant differences exist. Prepares reports on progress in a level of detail that is appropriate to the audience.

4. Manages project change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impact to the schedule (time and people), budget, and deliverables including completion of formal sign-off on agreement.

5. Demonstrates leadership skills by providing expertise in the area of project management, assisting in the management of the daily activities of the project, scheduling activities and participants, and coordinating/partnering with operational teams. Provides input into the job performance and coaching of information services colleagues as requested by leaders. Responds quickly to resolve operational situations that arise.

6. Translates the vision of the project into actionable work, while developing and supporting effective team interactions through open and honest communication, receptive to feedback, mentoring, and developing others. Develops and supports relationships that create an environment where individuals and team members learn and grow professionally.

7. Effectively delivers oral and written messages to inform others of changes that may affect them and their work. Matches communication style and methods to the message and audience with a high level of personal awareness regarding approachability.

8. Identifies and participates in process improvement within the scope of the project to decrease defects and reduce waste and/or cost of processes impacted by the implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

??? Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university

??? Five years of progressive project management and leadership experience within a team

??? Obtain Project Management Professional (PMP) within three years of accepting this role (optional for lab professionals with an MT/MLT certification and optional for Imaging professionals: Prefer MRSO certification and is known in MR as MRSO). (Optional for Imaging professionals: Prefer MRSO certification and is known in MR as MRSO)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

??? Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance

??? Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

??? Normally works in climate controlled office environment

??? Frequent sitting with movement throughout office space

??? Use of computers throughout the work day

??? Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers
